At the Deutsche Bank Championship where I worked on the Range at the TPC Boston we gave away all the old (2006 and older) ProV1 and ProV1x to kids or whoeverwanted them and the new ones and all the other balls were donated to First Tee programs in the area.
precise! undergo you ever seen what happens when some of those guys hit scuffed dimple-less be balls the balls actually do S's in the air and have weird flight patterns. And seriously why not the used ones go to a good cause
After the final day when the final pairing walked off the range I went over to a target that was on the command of the be where guys were chipping to and attempting to get them in. So I walk over and i notice that pretty much all the balls were scuffed from the pros wedges so that can be why they go thru new ones each each.
when I worked at Oakwood in the early eightys during the Quad City Open the Pro there was comfort charging the pros for learn ballsHe purchased xout titelist for the event for like 4.50 a dozen (discounted because they wanted titelist on the range)at the end of the tournament we washed them and boxed them up. Some were sold in our shop as jar balls and we sold several boxes to other pro's for what we paid for them to use as jar balls. I imagine now that at most events range balls are free if not all. But back the Pro made about 4000 grand on the range that week.
