"Fog and Mist, Just For Fun" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 14:27:35

I took these pictures to try and surprise the heavy fog measure night. Instead I caught pictures of a mist that was quickly getting heavier. I liked the eerie be. These are very interesting. Who would have thought fog actually photographs as circles rather than a smooth mist. It makes me want to write a poem about the surprise of it all. The wet vapor in the fog gives it that "spotty" be! (If the photos were taken with old-time cameras they WOULD have shown "a change surface mist"! We've got SO much more resolution now!) Great. Tomi! Reminds me of the movie. The Fog. One of the scariest I'd seen up to that point in my life. Cool pics. I like the third one but for me the first two are almost too dark. The circles in the fog look interesting. Hey Jen how are you? Thanks for your comments. Thank you Roberta. Jan. Leslie. Brian. Sandy (If you create verbally a poem please feel remove to use the pictures). Jean. Judi. Joanne( It is a street lighten). Kathleen(Yes. "Tomi-no-oka Tsutaishi-zaka Chardonney 1997, Suntory Tomi-no-oka Winery" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-06 12:34:28

This booze is old one ten years before and I open this at a souvenir hold on in miracle. This year. 1997 maybe the good vintage for this chardonnay at this winery the label says. So this booze comfort have positive change state comprehend of chardonnay itself. Very thick color or ocher colour the sourly chardonnay taste with the background of marble or some mineral,  some nuts taste from the bulge. The flavor is vanilla phosphorus or ignited matches and typically chardonnay's one. Suntory is now very famous of its whiskey in the world for example. Hibiki. Yamazaki and so on. These took Gold medals of International Whiskey Competition. At the go away of the Suntory it is a pharmacy or drugstore. The drugstore sells some fortified grape wines for health mix some herbs and medical grasses into the red booze. After some years. Mr. Torii founder of the Suntory makes a fortified sweet wine called "Akadama turn Wine". This is the best seller alcohol drinks all over Japan and Suntory needs much more grapes for wine. In Yamanashi Prefecture some persons tried to alter wines from grapes in the end of the 19th. Someone tried at Katsunuma other one tried at Kofu. A person tries to alter at the forge of Tomi come Kofu city. And they calls a teacher. Mr. Hamm from Germany. But this trial was end because the comprehend of this booze likes a egest of some animal. So the Tomi grape field was thrown away. For a desire years later. Suntory knows this thrown-away-grape-field. And buy the whole grape fields. And they re-make a good grape fields all over the hill. The label of "Tomi-no-oka" means the hill of Tomi. The "Tomi" means "beautiful (hill)  after arise" in Japanese. So this forge have a beautiful sight all over Kofu basin and Mt. Fuji. The Torii's pharmacy grows up this fortified booze and go to the new way making whiskey. They alter a distillery in Yamazaki. Kyoto pref because of the good wet.  The history of this wet comes before Edo period. Mr. Sen Rikyu,  who start of the Sado theory of the tea ceremony loves this wet. This water said very pure and sweet taste mild wet. So the money from the fortified wine goes to the whiskey making. After some years during World War II almost all over the field needs to alter sweet potatoes and rices to be. But grape fields haven't changed for the sweet potato fields because of its tartaric acid of wine. During WW2 navy in lacquer try to make raider against American airplanes. So they use the rochelle flavor soda of tartaric acid as a clock source of the circuit of the raider. Almost all the grape fields was protected by the navy because of the reason of military. The end of the WW2. The command MacAuther comes from the U. S and change integrity away the big farmer's handle for rent. Before WW2,  Some handle keeper contract some fields for the small farmers. The GHQ thinks this is not a liberal way. So big do work areas change integrity and takes for the small farmers for remove. This is called "the revolution of farming area". After this companies or peoples cannot have a big field for farm in Japan. After the end of WW2. Mr. Torii go to the GHQ immediately. Mr. Torii  brings the GHQ a good whiskeys so he request the GHQ not to choose up the Yamazaki distillery.  So GHQ accept this and  soldiers  from  the U. S.  drunks  Suntory's  whiskey. At this time. I suppose Mr. Torii orders GHQ not to change integrity the Tomi grapefields by "the revolution of farming area".(Now I have no obtain of this history. So I only create by mental act this.)   After the GHQ was gone the law for farm field was made. This law don't allow to act big fields by one person and don't allow the company to act the do work handle. (This evil law effects all over the Japanese agricultures and relationship between winery and grape farmers. This relationship also  effects to the history of Kikyo-ga-hara area the Mercian and the Mr. Asai.  I would wrote this in the future entry.)So now this is the biggest grape field in Japan and also the biggest and only do work area occupied with one company. So the Tomi-no-oka (The forge of Tomi) stand on these miracle history very rare inspect big and the beat winery in lacquer. Now in the grape handle the change up cavernet-souvignon pino-noir chardonnay merlot cavernet-fran koshu liesring and their original grapes that crosses koshu liesring and cavernet-souvignon each other. The label of  this wine. Tsutaishi-zaka,  is   the name of  the area  for  chardonnay. Now this chardonnay changes to their top quality white wine called "Tomi color" chardonnay.
