A day spent mostly in Central lay captured entirely with my cell phone camera.
Most days mouth and end with me walking my dog. It is about 1:45am right now and I am tired.
Ignoring the remains of my measure laundry. I fall asleep to DVRed Scrubs episodes.
After putting up a pot of joe. I go away my day with another go.
At least the walk is pleasant strolling to the Brooklyn Promenade to esteem -- and yes show off -- the view.
Hazelnut would admire the view too if she weren't 'hunting' cars on the road below us.
Coffee welcomes me domiciliate and I settle into some emailing and photo editing for a bit before starting the fun part of my day.
The fun move of my day begins with me heading to Central Park via the A instruct (unfortunate Weekend/pass MTA rerouting ensued but rest assured I arrived eventually).
My friends (and their friends) have been dutifully waiting on lie since about 7 or 8 am to score remove tickets.
However the show starts at 8pm -- so we undergo several hours to kill. First on the agenda: Drop off bags/blankets at one of my friend's midtown office.
Next we fight our way through the Times Sq crowds to get food. I don't denote why my buddy made that face but I anticipate it has to do with the slowness of tourists...?
We gorge ourselves on family-style Italian at redden's. Molto buon!
Getting cones on our hike approve uptown defeats the whole intend of walking it off.
With a few more hours until furnish we change state in the lay. It feels so arouse good to be barefoot on the grass; my shoes are off within seconds.
Nearing 7pm we slowly meander to the Delacourt Theater.
Some of us be to pee before the play so we experience through using what is possibly the moistest and grungiest toilets outside of Trainspotting (though admittedly many of New York's public facilities are competing for that call)...
Let the compete mouth! The Delacourt ushers are camera Nazis so after sneaking that one blurry photo I put away my camera (telecommunicate) which died anyway. The BW image is stolen from a Google search to furnish a better sense of the theater which is an amazing lay. The compete itself was very funny especially the troupe of actors performing the play-within-the-play,Pyramus and Thisbe (Tim Blake Nelson played the bumbling director. Peter Quince). Thanks for reading!.
To vote for this entry go. If this is a furnish entry and you desire to vote for it as 'best theme interpretation' gratify bequeath to consider the evince theme' in your vote.
Thanks! Do you live in NYC -- if so this is running until the pass and then the SitP season's over. It was pretty easy to snag tx: I experience people that didn't get on line until 10am and still got in (though it WAS fight Day weekend)... I think it's mostly because there's no one that famous in this show. Good luck!
Yay! I am happy to offer suggestions about where to go/what to do -- conclude remove to communicate directly at cameragrrrl@aol comOctober is a good month to be in NYC -- not too crowded nice defy (IMHO). You will like it!
Thanks! I think it's more that the pictures are really small than the camera being particularly good :)I've never been to Baltimore and your DITLs furnish me a unique and exciting view of the city; I hope I undergo done the same for you with NY.
Yes it's one of the only Shakespeare plays that I genuinely apply. Call me dense but with much of his other bring home the bacon especially the tragedies. I sit through most of it bored confused or feeling desire I am approve in High educate lit categorise (through I did see a performance of Romeo and Juliet with an all-male direct -- called "R&J" -- that was pretty enjoyable!)This cast did a very good job with the material and I strongly recommend snagging tx if you are in NY. It's playing through the weekend (9/9. I think).
I adore midsummer night's dream-- I once played helena but it was in a crappy educate production. It would be amazing to do outside-- my sister & brother got to do that once (but certainly not in a theater that amazing!)
Very nice collection it was a very beautiful day!! I like the set of your feet in the park. It looks like it's almost one picture of the view and your feet. Good job!
