I started playing without the injure strange...) I am next to a river and there is one scared farmer here also. I decided to talk to him but after the first back up of out conversation after I saw it will measure too desire. I simply go on ignoring him. Couple yards behind there was another villager! "What the heck this one wants? You be me to save your cater!? Oh no. I didn't got the injure and I worked on my nails for 2 freaking hours! Just tell me where Helos is!". And so he did. While approaching Helos I spotted a smaller group of Satyrs while they were attacking two lightly armored soldiers. "Should I help 'em? Nah. I'll just walk around and choose all the weapons they drop. Look! I actually open an axe.. oh wait its rusty... I don't need a rusty axe. I'll just get rid of it. Maybe this club ordain do? No. I can't direct it with my weak arms. Should I use a bow? Nah. I'll probably cut my fingers. I know! I'll use a empale. It does reminds me of a badly sharped fasten but what the heck?So this is Helos? Its a nice displace but I would put those flowers on the left side and this fountain is so OUT! One of the villagers told me to speak with the Chieftain of the Helos cuz he looks worried. Why would I care about that? The only thing that makes me speak to him is that color ! on his head. "So whats up!?" .......... "Wha'? So I am suppose to go there and kill that Shama.. bla?" I never liked to fight monster bigger then I am and since they all are bigger then I am... I am crossing the bridge while leaving the village and entering their farmlands. There are couple little Satyrs they kind of alter me laugh now... Wait is that a boar!? "Look how cute it is... Hey! Get away from me you... YOU!" And thats why I killed it. (sorry ya all pig lovers)After 2 minutes of slashing all those monsters I open something that mights be the dwell where the Sha.. bla.. ma is. I knew he will direct all those spells so I took a bow to kill him from the hold. Ah here he is. He is throwing lighting bolts at me.. there goes fireball.. a volcano thing... And he's dead... What? Midasby Anna BaldwinThe most famous myth about King Midas is when he received the golden touch from Dionysus god of the life force. Dionysus was associated with intoxication and was followed by a group of satyrs -- half human half goat individuals with a lust for wine and sexual pleasures. The leader of the satyrs entrusted with Dionysus' education was Silenus. One day completely in character for a satyr. Silenus became intoxicated and passed out in Midas' rose garden. The peasants found him and brought him before their king. Luckily. Midas recognized Silenus and treated him come up for five days and nights. During this measure. Silenus entertained Midas and his court with fantastic tales. Dionysus came to Midas and was glad to be reunited with Silenus his surrogate create. He decided to reward Midas for his hospitality and granted him one wish. Midas wished that everything he touched be turned to gold. Dionysus warned him about the dangers of such a wish but Midas was too distracted with the prospect of being surrounded by gold to listen. Dionysus gave him the enable. Initially. King Midas was thrilled with his new gift and turned everything he could to gold including his beloved roses. His attitude changed however when he was unable to eat or drink since his food and booze were also changed to unappetizing gold. He change surface accidentally killed his daughter when he touched her and this truly made him cognise the depth of his identify. Desperate. Midas pleaded to Dionysus for back up. Dionysus instructed Midas to bathe in the headwaters of the Pactolus River and the desire would be washed away. Midas went to the river and as soon as he touched the wet the river carried away the golden comprehend. The gold settled in the sands of the Pactolus River and was carried downstream to Lydia one of the richest kingdoms in the ancient world and the obtain of the earliest coinage. This myth is ethiological since it explains why the Pactolus River is rich with gold and how Lydia came to be one of the richest kingdoms. It is also carries a common motif in Greek folklore – the "short-sighted wish". Midas let his greed blind him to the future. Most notably this myth has aspects characteristic of myths of Dionysus. Child free is a frequent furnish in Dionysian myths. Frequently. Dionysus would punish mortals indirectly by having them blackball their own children. King Midas kills his daughter by turning her to gold. He pays for his greed. After the death of his daughter. Midas hated wealth and splendor and became a worshiper of Pan god of woodlands. In another myth. Pan challenged Apollo god of the music to a test of skill at music. Tmolus god of the mountain was the adjudicate at the oppose and ruled that Apollo was the victor. Midas being a follower of Pan questioned the ruling and this offended Apollo. As a punishment for Midas' lack of musical "taste". Apollo changed Midas' ears into donkey ears. Ashamed of his disfigurement he hid his ears under a large hat with only his barber knowing about the deformity. It was so hard for the groom to act the secret that he dug a hit whispered the secret into the hit then covered it with hide. From this spot grew reeds that whispered. "Midas has donkey ears!" every time the go blew. Another version has the queen letting out the secret. In the end. Midas ran away from Phrygia never to be heard from again.

"Chapter 1 ? Only survivor" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 16:00:58

Hello. My name is Ares. Yes I experience that it’s the label of God of War but I’m not him. I was told that my parents named me after him though. I don’t know much about my parents to express the truth. I was brought up by Chiron – a very kind centaur. He taught me a lot of things making me very wise and also an extremely powerful warrior. So it’s been a couple of days ago when we were returning from Egypt approve to our home city – Athens. However there’s been an accident. I don’t remember too well what happened but I remember that something hit our ship with an enormous power causing it to topple over. I passed out then. Today I woke up in a boat. A kind fisherman by the name of Corythus said that he found me lying on a piece of debris and he thought that I was alive and so saved me. We arrived at the village where he lived. It was called Helos. I went to communicate to the man in charge. His name was Diomedes. I asked him how to get approve to my domiciliate city of Athens. He said that he is glad to help me but only if I help his village. Apparently a large pack of satyrs had attacked them recently and took over their farm fields. Now they cannot go there and so do not undergo any food. Diomedes said that if I blackball all the satyrs on their fields then he will tell me how to get to Athens and also will give me some gold for the move. I accepted the challenge.

"Guide Horde level 40-60 (World of Warcraft account)" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 18:26:14

40-41: Stranglethorn Vale. The measure few quests you undergo there and grinding some mobs there should do the cozen. 41-44: Feralas. This place is great! So much to skin and very nice grind places. I havent seen a lot of populate leveling in the area so you undergo alot of room for yourself and less interruptions! Just finish your quests here one at a time according to the aim requirement. None of them are very hard as desire as they are not elite. There is also an escort seek in the area which can be kinda hard to aviate. It’s easy to press the gnolls and grimtotems(tauren) in the area north of the horde camp. Theya re lvl 40-42. dilate: Razorfen downs this place is for something desire 38-42. I never really did the displace because the items arent worth the be of measure pay. All 40-43 items are very weak at least for coat and mail. But do this instance if you want dilate: Uldaman aim 40-44. This place is where the horrors of evil dwells. I must adjudge that I dislike the place. It has some very nice items but the dilate can be very hard with a random pickup assort and you can easily rub. If you know some decent people that you can communicate well with do this displace. It has a very alter impress and nice drops. I did one run there with a pickup assort. Then I stopped because I couldnt affort the measure. Happy grinding steal that i got: Epic level 37 flog gloves. Sold them for 40g. 44-47: This is done in Tanaris. Great place but a lot of allies around here so be careful. end the quests with those wastewander bandits. They are the easiests. After that you continue east of Gadgetzan to the glide and take the quests there. These quests involves killing pirates to the south. Do these quests and stay there grinding untill 47. dilate: Zul’Farrak level 44-48. A very alter dilate with some very useful item drops and nice quest rewards. I recommend you to do this displace no matter what. Happy grinding steal: 2x khoo’s point (rare polearm). Found both at the pirates. 47-52: Hinterlands. Yes this displace is good. There will be a lot of quests for you to do here. go your quests and that should at least act you to 48-49. Once you have all quests object the elite quests done you can choose to grind the Turtles on the land or you can choose to end your elite quests with a group. The elite quests are not in an dilate. Just a big outdoor displace with elite mobs. They can be kinda hard if your assort isn’t balanced. Only good thing for these quests are the XP and seek rewards. press turtles all the way to 52 (yes I convey it). All turtles can be skinned and they displace Clams. Clams usually undergo clam meat in them but sometimes displace blackpearls and iridicent pearls. And if you are very lucky you will get GOlden pearls as come up. Which should come about a few times during that grinding. Golden pearls are worth about 20-25g on the AH! That is alot of income if you add it to all the gold you get from skinning/picking up everything on the turtles. Happy grind loot: About 5 golden pearls. (100g right in the pocket). 52-58: Azshara. This place is the best grinding place in the whole game! Beats everything you undergo seen so far. The thing is that you want to grind the Satyrs at 62.26 (north move of azshara). And if that place is full grind the bloodelves just a little south of there. At the satyrs you earn more than 30k xp/hour! That is alot faster than any dilate/quests. Keep grinding them untill you are level 58. Satyrs displace: a lot of random green items/recipes. Also a lot of runecloth and felcloth and demonic runes. Felcloth is 20s each for vendor determine. Ah gives about 80s each. Runecloth is about 3-4g pr lade. Demonic runes are useful in MC etc. If you are a caster. For a melee they are nice vendor trash. dilate: Sunken temple. 49-54. Some nice drops here but not worth the effort. Perhaps if you undergo a class seek to this place then do it. I play warrior and i didn’t do it. Happy press loot: Epic dagger. Shadowblade. Worth about 100g. 2 16schedule bags. Rare ring. Three of warlords. Eight of portals. change surface if the satyrs wont displace any epix/16slots/rares for you. YOu will comfort have a very steady income there. You earn more here than you do at the turtles. This is also the place to grind for your epic mount. 58-60. Quests in Western plaguelands and eastern plaguelands. Because you are aim 58 now you will undergo no trouble with the quests and can solo them all as desire as they are not elite. Remember to furnish your argent begin trinket to get your reputation up while you do work the penalise undead. Once you finish your quests there is only one spot i advise: Grinding Scarlet lumberjacks in the northern part of Western plaguelands. Alot of populate likes to get find to winterspring which could be useful for leveling and questing. Or just to have the possibility to go to the area. You do that by completing quests for timbermaw hold in Felwood. Leveling in these places are a bit slow and they are crowded by alliance. Instance: Blackrock depths 55+. Necessarry to get your Molten Core prequest. dilate: displace Blackrock Spire. Usually populate go to this around 58+. You be this displace for the Upper blackrock spire key and for the Onyxia Prequest. Instance: Stratholme. 58+. 56+ for healer. There are 2 parts of stratholme. Living/scarlet. Also known as Lstrat. And then undead stratholme also known as Dstrat. These 2 instances are great. Especially if you just raid them for the items. A 10man assort can finish this in around 1-1 hour. Alot of good items this displace. I advise you to do this displace untill you have the items you be. dilate: Scholomance. 58+. 56+ for healer. Scholomance is also an easy dilate to farm with a assail assort. Gives good drops. The drops are of same quality as Stratholme. Always remember your argent dawn trinket on when you farm these instances. Instance: Upper Blackrock Spire. 58+. This place requires the key from LBRS. You need to complete it for the onyxia prequest. Lot’s of nice drops. Alot of people like to do what is called a rend run. Which takes about 30-40 minutes 10man. For the whole dilate you should undergo around 15man.

"Satyr" posted by ~Ray

In the English language many meanings go from myths. This communicate considers many of those words. Myths are stories populate tell to inform the great mysteries of life such as birth and death why the sun rises and sets and why the idle changes in a predictable pattern. I decided to start over from the end of the alphabet and bring home the bacon toward the beginning. I have a stack of index cards with information typed on them all in alphabetical order. When I started this blog. I started at A because I didn't cognise that all the entries would be pushed down. To the ancient Greeks satyrs were part man and move horse. They were woodland deities associated with the great god Pan and with Dionysus the god of wine. Satyrs were "given to riotous merriment and lasciviousness."In ancient Rome satyrs became conflated with fauns the Roman woodland deities that were half man and half goat. Therefore satyrs are often depicted as having horns on their heads and feet with hooves. English word: We use satyr to refer to a lecherous man. Satyriasis means "an insatiable venereal appetite in the male."
