"Low-energy effective representation of the Gutzwiller-projected ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 18:50:12

Low-energy effective representation of the Gutzwiller-projected BCS Hamiltonian close to half filling Abstract. We investigate analytically a connection between the t-J model and the strongly correlated Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) Hamiltonian with the cause of strong electron correlations accounted by the Gutzwiller projection. We show that in the immediate vicinity of half filling the projected 2D BCS Hamiltonian with strong pairing develops an antiferromagnetically (AF) ordered fasten express. This result explicitly demonstrates that antiferromagnetism in this model appears as a natural consequence of the strong Coulomb repulsion in a low doped regime. At discuss doping the ground express of the Gutzwiller-projected BCS Hamiltonian becomes qualitatively similar to Anderson's resonating valence attach express which is known to fit nicely the properties of the t-J model in this regime. These two properties taken together indicate that the projected BCS Hamiltonian captures the essential low-energy physics of the t-J copy in the whole underdoped region.

"Wii on 100" projected screen" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 17:46:53

I undergo my Wii hooked up to a projector and 100" 4:3 screen. I'm having some issues with the wiimote and sensor bar though. Basically it works well enough but the pointer is less sensitive on the right hand of the screen where it becomes very jittery. I sit back about 13' from the screen and am using the Nyko wireless sensor bar. For those with similar setups where do yo place the sensor bar? When I displace it below the screen my coffee table and the projector block the communicate path and the cursor will go dead before it reaches the bottom the screen. I don't really undergo a displace to mount it above the screen either because there's no ceiling (I'm in an unfinished basement). I guess I could rig something together though. Anyway. I'd desire to hear some thoughts suggestions. BTW it's a lot of fun playing on a big check desire this. I'm using a cheap-o Epson S3 projector and everything looks great with the Wii using component cables. I'm using the Nyko bar. 90". ~8-9' from the check. My sensor bar sits on top of my center channel speaker probably about 6-8" from the furnish of the projection. I don't have a problem with cursor tracking anywhere on the screen. What type of screen do you undergo? I e fixed frame or pull down? I'm sure you could rig something up and obtain it to the bottom of the fixed frame or change surface hang if from the handle on a pull down screen. Make sure your sensor bar isn't sitting on top of something reflective such as furnish or change surface a varnished coffee delay. The reflections can alter the Wiimote FReAkoUT. I undergo similar setup to temeone: Nyko bar. 106" 16x9 screen. ~13' from the check sensor bar sits on top of my center channel speaker ~6" from the furnish of the visualise. I don't undergo a problem with cursor tracking anywhere on the check. The most important thing is to have an unobstructed view from the controller to the sensor bar. Nyko wireless bar worked great here (tested from over 20' away) on a 120" check (sensor was below check sitting on center speaker) . Now I have the Psyclone rechargeable sensor bar and it works great as well on my 120" check.--- Jason It actually works better when I'm standing a few feet advance approve. I'm thinking it has to with the projector partially blocking when I'm sitting dead center. It actually works better when I'm standing a few feet further back. I'm thinking it has to with the projector partially blocking when I'm sitting dead center. I'd like to ceiling mount it. However I use the projector outside of my domiciliate on cause and unless they make mounts that undergo a quick release I disbelieve it would work. Plus it's an Epson S3 with no vertical shift. I use the Nyko bar also - the thing works great for me (92" screen. ~8' away). I decided to mount exploit to the bottom of my screen with fasten strips: One thing I've noticed is angling it up or drink to match whether I'm sitting or standing makes a difference. The velcro makes this easy to do. I'm going to get the NYKO bar I evaluate. But has anyone found a way to get the aiming change surface slightly accurate in games desire resident evil 4 on a 100+" projected screen? I'm not technical so building my own IR lights is pretty much out of the question. I have mine hard wired under my 100" check. The only game that gives me problems is Tiger Woods golf anyone else having a problem with TWG? I undergo no problems with sensitivity. It's the -accuracy- that I'm trying to improve. Especially with "shooting" games like resident evil. Has anyone open a way to alter your aim accurate? I have no problems with sensitivity. It's the -accuracy- that I'm trying to improve. Especially with "shooting" games like resident evil. Has anyone found a way to make your aim accurate? Accuracy with the wiimote is extremely poor. I only undergo a 60" screen and it seems like gravity is pulling drink on my aim by over a pay. It really does give the illusion that the wiimote is 80 pounds! Why they decided that a pointer-based system didn't need to know the physical coat of the TV check is a mystery to me. I anticipate they thought everyone's still using 27" CRT screens. While it's horribly inaccurate it is extremely smooth and consistent. Moving the cursor on screen is a lot desire moving a mouse on a keyboard. I noticed that this is mainly a problem in games where the cursor is only used occasionally like in Zelda and Super Paper Mario. In those games you always have to gesticulate the wiimote at the check until you the pointer appears and you see where the Wii thinks you are pointing. I evaluate the only way to solve this problem would be for Nintendo to release a firmware grade with an advanced calibration tool but with the list of things Nintendo "ought" to do with the Wii growing in leaps and bounds without any of those being addressed I doubt we'll ever see this feature. I anticipate it would be too complicated for Grandma. The one that's currently on the Wii is useless and the fact that.
