Posted on 2007-09-18 17:23:36

In politica internazionale. Ataturk decise d’ispirarsi.

"Combat tactics" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-08-31 09:31:22

I just got my LM to 23. I am having lots of fun with it but I have some questions just don't know if I am missing something in most cases when I start an attack first I do sign of power: command then send the pet (raven) as it engages the monster I direct write of cater:wizardry sometimes if the monster is 3 or more levels above me Fire-lore and then I go away with the DPS light of rising dawn burning embers as much as I can.. by this time the monster is at melee range so between burning embers I so the staff-strike how does this compare to the tactics of others? Cracked earth seems to be a wast of time it deals little damage and change surface if it "roots" it is after 10 seconds. I am not trashing the spell but I don't really know how to use it to make it effective any advice on how to increase the LM abilities based on what I do?thanks Thats pretty consistant with my approach solo. I use raven. Target mob at max Ember range. Debuff fire. Debuff attack. Burning Embers. Test of Will/lighten of the DawnBurning EmbersWhen in melee. Staff Strike/Burning Embers until dead. Watch for flanking constantly and heal or smash depending on what is needed and if timers undergo define. That's just the generic everyday mob 1v1 2v1 be. I would use Cracked Earth consistently until you've finished the deed and then shelve it until you can make better tactical use of it. It's nice in some situations. Otherwise that's about what I do though starting off with SoP:W isn't on my list but mainly because when I was leveling it did **** for damage so I've never used it as a good DoT. Also what I would advise is setting raven Distraction on your quick-bar and toggling it on and off for added raven DPS. It burns through his power pretty quick but it adds decent alter. Also remember to not queue up skills but let an auto-attack hit between each spell-cast. Depends on what I'm fighting but generally its:displace pet in to attackcast SoP:Command right as the mob agros on the petBELotRDBEGust of go or Cracked Earthby this time it's defeated (if it's a displace aim mob) or at less than 1/2 health if it did not resist any attacks. If it's comfort alive then I melee with SS until dead. If it looks like I'm going to take a lot of damage and might be in affect. I'll use BF (or LotRD + BF if LotRD is available) and then do some self healing. And while the mob is Mezzed I will back off if there's room and then send the pet in when I'm create from raw material to resume. While the above is happening I keep an eye on the pets morale. If it's dropping too fast and the mob isn't undead then I add Fire Lore. If it is undead then I will use GoW (if I haven't already). I try to get off my ameliorate on the pet before it hits 25% morale but ideally it won't often get to that inform. CE is good as an aoe in combo with the wind contend to take out buzz mobs... As a root only useful in large areas where u undergo room to run... Just used it last night in the North downs to kill groups of orcs.. was kinda fun... Otherwise that's about what I do though starting off with SoP:W isn't on my enumerate but mainly because when I was leveling it did **** for damage so I've never used it as a good DoT. SoP:W is a great pulling skill. It is very flexible: long be castable on the run and its timer is short enough to refresh by the time you close to melee distance. I pull with SoP:W and send my raven out on Distract at the same measure. SoP:W does enough alter to wake the mob up but the seize grabs aggro as the mob charges with confuse. After the raven gets a hit or two in. I can fire BE without peeling. The mob doesn't change surface sight me until I follow up with LotrD and use the immobilise time to close into melee range. If I'm lucky the raven procs a lie in the meantime and the fight is over. I rarely use Command unless fighting a mob +2 lvls above me. Usually open with displace pet. BE. Distraction. ToW or LotRD. BE unless close enough for ISS. I use dominate (doesnt cause aggro)then send in pet hit distraction so the pet can hold a little aggroturn off distractiondebuff mob (fire lore or whatever is needed)burning embersSOP:W for double DOT w/BECracked earthabout now the mob decides to come after meLotRD as the mob is almost in melee rangeStaff strikeWind contend (move remember the name for the life of me atm does attack debuff and alter)back up as the mob gets create from raw material to be unstunned and Burning embers wears off... check as the mob gets rooted by now from the cracked earthrinse and repeat exchanging LotRD for ToW when cooldowns aren't upthat's about it. I easily aviate elites same level or higher using that tactic and with herb lore / some tactical mezzing thrown into the mix an elite + multiple adds are not a problem. Watch for those flank states for your staffstrike/SOP:W as soon as its about to weaken and be ready to HL/WoC if you get in a bad situation from mutliple resists. This is going to be vague since I cant bequeath certain titles of signs and such I'm at work1) I always (if possible) inspect the area.

"Books of lore" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-08-30 08:42:10

I am still new at this so. I comfort haven't figured out what the books of lore are. I got the skill but I don't know how to get them or even what they are. I have looked on the AH and I have only seen books for legendary traits. I need help understanding what they are and how to get them Scholars alter the higher aim ones. They are used to reduce power consumption costs in certain recite lines depending on the type of book. scholar crafters can alter Books of XXX (beasts dunedain whatever).. but I don't recall ever selling one with my scholar so if other LMs call up saying 'OMG THEY ARE GREAT!' in this thread and you still dont see any on the ah you might ask in /trade if you can pay a scholar to make you one. __________________Meneldor: Holeyn - Burglar | Aborning - Captain | Aeglin - Champion | Elwir - Hunter | Syrvarion - MinstrelLandroval: Thion - Guardian Along with the AH the LM trainer sells the most basic aim 20 books for like 10 or 20s. They're something to fill the slot but not earth-shattering. Yep trainers sell the 2% books scholars can make them also at journeyman level if they crit 3% req level 20th same as the 2% er's. At Expert level. 4% if they crit 6% req are still both aim 30th. At Artisan aim. 6% if crit 8% req aim 40th still. At Master level... we're assed out aren't any lore books after artisan atm. Thanks so at level 23 I am good with the trainer ones and when I arrive 30 I will need to find a scholar to help me with them. TBH. I've never truly run out of power at least not so much that an extra 8% off any one spell would really alter me. The books are worthless atm. I keep my lute equipped because the annoyance it saves from having to switch outweighs the benefits of books. If your seeing legendary books then your looking in the do by category. There is a category called categorise Items I think its called that has sub sections for all the categorise cram. And of course the low end books are available from any LM trainer. I have never used the higher end books but the low one doesn't seem to undergo all that much effect. I have gone whole nights not realizing I had my lute equipped instead of the book. I anticipate as you get to the higher lvl ones this improves but like someone above me said I rarely undergo issues with running out of cater. More often then I cater drain just to make sure the mob has no cater and not to fill my own unless its an extremely desire fight where I had to share the power a lot. __________________Spindon of Lindon - MinstrelBreglos of Gondor - CaptainWaken Bake - Lore-MasterFirefoot server The truth is they're basically worthless but I still use them because it doesn't hurt. There are three types of books: nature beasts and dunedain. Each reduces the cater costs of one group of skills. Nature reduces the be of your lore skills (fire lore wind lore herb lore). Beasts reduces the cost of your pets (not sure if it reduces the cost of the Sign of the Wild skills). Dunedain reduces the costs of your Signs of Power (Command. Wizardry. Righteousness. Vigilance). Very few of these are truly expensive. The pets are a little steep on the power costs but since you summon them out of combat and can immediately regen that power use it's not important. go Lore is the only one of the combat skills that's anything higher than minor and the cost reduction on it is laughably small. However it's not like I have anything else to fit in my ranged slot so a Book of Nature sits there. - Weblogs or Blogs are personal Websites consisting of regularly updated entries displayed in reverse chronological order. They read like a diary or journal, but with the most recent entry at the top.

- Web logs or blogs are a type of Web content typically created by independent writers (although some reporters for media companies create blogs on newspaper or magazine sites). Some are minastir blogs; others resemble newsletters or columns. Often, they contain links to other sources of content.

- A weblog (usually shortened to blog, but occasionally spelled web log) is a web-based publication consisting primarily of periodic articles (normally in reverse chronological order). Although most early minastir weblogs were manually updated, tools to automate the maintenance of such sites made them accessible to a much larger population, and the use of some sort of browser-based software is now a typical aspect of minastir "blogging".

" Blogs aren't going anywhere..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-06-22 11:04:10

Blogs have been around for many years but have recently become somewhat a new craze. A Blog is short for Web Log is basically an online journal. They can be set up at little to no cost at all, and can be used for a wide variety of things. Some bloggers just blog for the fun of it, while others tend to use their blogs for business reasons.

The following are just a few ways blogs can be used:
1) Updates Keep customers/clients up to date on changes to your website. Also new product announcement and new related websites.
2) Reviews You can give opinions, advice and personal recommendations on specific products or services related to your field.
3) Personal and Business uses Blogs are a great way to keep track of your goals and plans just by open writing.
4) Stress Reliever Jot down your vents, gripes, thoughts. Some also find general writing therapeutic.
5) Search Engine Optimization Search Engines love text and content. You can also include links to your website which equal backward links which in turn equals high ranking.
6) Money Makers Yes, you can make money with your blog by providing readers with quality copy writing and a few affiliate links. So how is a blog set up?

There are several options you can choose from when starting your own blog.
