L'Animale esce a distanza di un anno dall'album 'DORMI AMORE la situazione non è buona'. Prodotto dal Clan Celentano il best contiene 28 brani divisi in due cd Canzoni d'Amore e Canzoni Contro che rappresentano le due anime di Adriano Celentano: il primo raccoglie alcune tra le più belle canzoni d’amore del suo repertorio il secondo comprende alcune tra le canzoni più importanti che trattano temi sociali. Tra le 14 Canzoni d’Amore brani che hanno scritto la storia della musica italiana da "Storia d’amore" a "Una carezza in un pugno" fino ai più recenti "L'emozione non ha voce".
