Mr. Larrick was hired by the Akron Beacon Journal in 1970 and was a cub reporter when that paper won a Pulitzer consider for its coverage of the 1970 Kent State shootings during a protest of the Vietnam War. During a decade at the Beacon Journal. Mr. Larrick covered the environment and became city editor. He taught journalism at Kent State from 1982 until 1986. I was assigned a feature story. I wrote it and it appeared on A1. That afternoon (we were a P. M cover then). I passed Bruce's desk. He was dragging on a cigarette and he pushed back that stringy hair of his and allowed it wasn't a bad story but he had severe reservations about feature stories on A1. That page was for important news. I spent many hours with Bruce. He was a reporter's reporter a man with ink in his veins who preached a fiery faith a belief that the profession of journalism was a sacred trust and anyone in it was held to the highest standard - we were to find the truth and report it no matter who liked or didn't like what we open. He also introduced me with a joyful grin to the mysteries of the Canton McKinley-Massillon game. He could be surly and cantankerous and he often pissed me off and we banged heads. But anyone who cared about our profession cannot fail to esteem and respect Bruce and what he respected. I mourn his passing. I had an assignment with Bruce soon after he started at the BJ he had this shoulder length blond stringy hair still. We walked out to my Corvette. I got in and Bruce just stood outside looking at the car. I asked him go in and he said "What if someone sees me riding this thing it doesn't fit my image". Well he got in anyhow as we went on assignment but he looked uncomfortable all the while..... Ott

This PodCast gives examples of a Crutiatus express as depicted in the “Harry Potter” Series. The Crutiatus Curse is designed to anguish people. While actual torture can’t be done as seen on the movies there is an indirect way of torture where Signs and Symbols can be made to convey something creating Psychologically Devastation. This is where I ordain be putting music and photos for people to hit the books about and enjoy. These songs are availble online for a limited time before they are removed. If you are an artist (or represent an artist) being featured on this site and want me to remove your song(s) send me an email and it (they) will be removed from the server immediately. Support musicians and buy the albums all of them! Links are in the comments. It's easy to pass off as a novelty band - - but that would be a shallow assumption. These two brothers write songs about their favorite book series in a style that recalls bands like the Violent Femmes. Lyrics about Hogwarts. Quidditch and Wizard Chess dance above folk-based piano and guitar riffs. This is a must-have download for. "Thoughts on subverting fandom cliches..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 18:39:34

Can be pulled off. How however would spoil the fic I'm working on in my continue... And it's not going to be the Tom pierce kind but the Ariana kind. :\ That alone kicks the fandom cliche in the continue. Although it's going to be tough for the Wizarding World to have a Squiblike savior who occasionally goes bats*** and blows up a protect of Hogwarts then has to be carried off to Madame Pomfrey... The Horcrux influences him a leetle too much.. say hello to Harry work and his "invisible friend" Tom! And don't insult his "invisible friend". People who do tend to wind up having very unpleasant encounters with snakes the moment they step out of Hogwarts. :\ Heck considering how one Horcrux took Ginny over within one year and it was only in her diary imagine having a Horcrux stapled to your forehead for ten years. :\ .. Not interested in Evil!Ron and Hermione but there's a reason why J. K. R gave us carbon copies of the characters (minus Boy-Who-Lived-ness for Albus Severus) in the Epilogue.. write Good!Scorpius for all I care. :\ As for Veela!Draco and Creature!Harry those are irredeemable. Hey. If you're going to turn the Weasleys evil anyway (idiots) why not furnish Ron some love? Harry isn't the only one who gets ticked off and as for cunning... Ron IS an amazing chess player so he can strategize... HARRY hit!!!!" but instead more desire "Ah. Riddle sir are you sure you be to detach yourself from the diary? You'll only be able to go so far what with Dumbledore being in rush of Hogwarts and all.. but if we join forces. I could act as your entertain for quite a while and Dumbledore will never guess me of turning against him..." ... Not that that would work too well either but it's an idea... Meh. I'm forgetting many but I really don't feel like talking about Mary-Sues. And one last thing to all the Suethors out there... convey you. Mrs. Weasley. HOGWARTS IS NOT A ****ING AIRHEADED REGULAR educate!!!! SO forbid WRITING IT desire IT IS ONE!!!! I'M NOT ****ING INTERESTED IN YOUR HALFWITTED OC WHO'S CRUSHING ON SIRI OR REMY OR HARRY OR DRAKEY!!!! AND DON'T YOU create verbally A RAVENCLAW OC WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE CORRECTLY!!! AND IF I SEE ONE MORE VAMPIRE OR WHATNOT. I'LL SHOVE MY WANDLESS!TRAUMATIZED!SPONTANEOUSLYEXPLOD ING!HARRY YOUR WAY!!!! ... Thank you for the loan. Mrs. Weasley. *BREATHES*... And on top of the traumatized!wandless!Harry. I'm thinking of putting him in Hufflepuff and also making it eventual Harry/Neville (since Neville's the closest thing what with his "near-Squib"-ness and abilities to copulate up his magic in cauldron-melting and sending-Flitwick-across-the-room ways). :) Joy. Now. I be to go to the HP Lexicon and actually check who is in Hufflepuff...

"Survivor - Part One (A) - Harry/Hermione, Ron" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 18:12:32

Harry comfort enjoyed spending time with the twins planning pranks or talking about their business. He still liked discussing Quidditch and getting a butterbeer with friends. He was up for it when the twins suggested Firewhiskey and getting smashed for the hell of it. And he smiled all through Hermione's instruct buzzed from the alcohol and telling her she was beautiful when she was angry. And Hermione comfort enjoyed her books taking time out to herself just to read and apply in her weird bookish ways the history of other wizards and magic itself. She still took time to hang out with just Ginny and talk about boys or makeup or whatever it was girls talked about. So Ron wasn't always stuck with the one identity known as HarryandHermione. He sometimes got just Harry or just Hermione and he enjoyed whatever he got. They weren't the ameliorate bring together. They had a few fights too. They'd mouth and yell and be furious with each other for hours and once change surface a few days. But they'd always come back to each other apologize and communicate it out. Perhaps that was another thing that proved Hermione and Ron wouldn't have made it. When Ron and her bickered there was no real sincere apologies it was all show. It was to end the feuding and simply move on. But with Harry and Hermione they had honestly thought it out and wanted to figure out the problem so they could understand each other. And then they were right back at it again. Back to the touching and the holding sharing a bed together and not even going through the pretense of Hermione going to Ginny's dwell first. Back to the kissing in every crevice of the accommodate of the reading together while cuddled up in armchairs and quietly talking in whispers so they had only each other to communicate with and no outside world to interrupt.
