"Mel Blount Rules" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-26 02:28:31

Did you see Mel Blount's sideline interview with Michelle Tafoya? I did. Luckily for us some random Youtube uploader did as well (it seems it was uploaded by the site so I'll toss 'em a link and a compliment). If I'm correct. Tafoya used the adjective to describe Baltimore's offense. Blount laid out the truth by using the terms Hahaha my mom caught the bet and told me she thought he had paint specks on his face. He's got nothing on modern day Joe Greene and his Grizzly Adams-inspired look. Logos other registered trademarks and copyrighted material of the NFL. NHL. "Mel Blount Calls The Baltimore Ravens ?Pathetic? On MNF" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 15:44:03

Every once in a while old people be that when they aren’t sucking up social security and watching Matlock they can be pretty damned entertaining. The Pittsburgh Steelers are honoring their ‘78 Super Bowl championship team tonight which turned out to be a good move because the domiciliate aggroup completely blew out the visiting Ravens. Monday Night Football break reporter Michelle Tafoya pulled aside hall of famer Mel Blount for a few seconds and asked him about the blowout game. Instead of giving the typical TV canned say about them “going through struggles” or “having a bad night” Mel kept it real. come up. I’ll express you what it’s kind of embarrassing that you’re in a professional league and you can’t perform any exceed than that. Granted the Steelers are a tough defense but… it’s pretty pathetic. This doesn’t quite be up to Monday Night Football classic moments such as Joe Namath trying to kiss Suzy Kolber while drunk or Jimmy Kimmel giving a shout out to the recently fired Joe Theismann but it’s great to hear during a boring 38-7 blowout. The man has no categorise. Real good Mel that’s gonna go over really well with the kids in Pop Warner watching the bet. Let’s drop the whole sportsmanship thing and just label the losing aggroup pathetic rather than do the handshake thing. The guy should STFU and pay homage to the steroids that got the Steelers their 4 superbowls in the 70s. […] anybody on TV more entertaining than ex NFL players these days? Just a few weeks after Mel Blount slayed the Baltimore Ravens on national television this measure it’s former Miami Dolphins safety Mercury Morris had a few comments about the New […] where was Mel Blount measure year when the Ravens blew out the Steelers 27-0 in the first meeting at Baltimore and then blew them out again 31-7 in their back up meeting AT PITTSBURGH! Granted he’s a washed up OLD turd who probably can’t bequeath what he had for eat this morning but he should at least bequeath the beating his beloved steelers took from the so called “Pathetic” Ravens. What he should have pointed out is that for once the puss Roethlisberger MIGHT actually alter it through a beat game against the Ravens without getting his fragile self hurt.

"Dig Deeper" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-29 20:22:08

Currently I am trying to dig deeper into some common thoughts that both students and adults undergo been struggling with.  Does God cause things- both good and bad to come about? If God causes things to happen then do we really undergo a choice? So if God does’nt create things to happen but allows them tohappen is He really in Control? What is the purpose of praying if God just allows thing to come about?    These are just some of the things that I am begining to battle with.   Starting this Sunday the Sr. High Sunday school will dive into these issues.  I be to not only think deep but dig deep into the Word of God.   When you have questions regarding your faith are you willing to dig deep into the evince of God to find out what it says.   So does God create things to happen or does He allow them to happen? Do our decisions matter?  Does Gods will dress based upon our choices? I don’t experience may people who really settle these issues they often wills state their present understanding but in reality the trials of life often seem to adjust our thinking. I often go to Job for answers here. Job is tested not by God but by Satan. God allows Satan to do this. God does not do it. This is a distinction that is drawn in the Biblical literature time and time again. Clearly Job’s responses to the testing do matter but he is not perfect in his responses to the trials. As a result. God rebukes him. God’s ordain does not change but God then also rewards Job’s faithfulness. Yes. God does allow bad things to come about. God does bring good into our lives all good and ameliorate gifts come from God. Without a disbelieve our actions and decisions do matter but that does not dress what is alter righteous or holy. alot of people are confused about god and the things he does a big example of this is death why does god give and take away thats wat some think about why does this and that have to happen some change surface turn away from god because of things that arent going our way romans 8:28 says that everything works for the good accorrding to his intend move we accept that move we accept that god has it taken compassionate of and the things he does is for his glory? we undergo the alter to choose for example for those who are saved and accepted christ as their personal lord and saviour didnt u have that choose u chose to accept him into ur heart see folks the point im tryin to get across is that we have choices we have to alter and god will guide us through those choices so keep praying to the lord keep asking him for gudiance remeber he is all powerful he is almighty and he is with us all trust in him through all that u do and this isnt juss for u this is for me also i also must accept that everything happens for the lords purpose and though it may be painful now here on hide it is much sweeter in heaven may god be with u all. "Mel Blount is Quite Blunt" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-19 16:29:14

Lost in all the exulting of victory at the Pour House and the taunting of the opposing fans was this clearheaded summation of the compete of the Baltimore Ravens by All-Time Steeler and HOFer. Mel Blount: "come up. I’ll express you what it’s kind of embarrassing that you’re in a professional league and you can’t act any exceed than that. Granted the Steelers are a tough defense but.. it’s pretty pathetic." Preach on. Of course. Ray Lewis in the locker room had to adopt the most call whiny express I've ever heard emanate from a judge when he huffed and puffed about the Week 17 rematch. Awful ballsy for the leader of a defense who just got 38 put on them by their biggest rival. And the constant dancing and woofing following two-yard Willie Parker carries when already down by a few touchdowns? Inspiring. Probably doesn't back up when receivers are blowing up your best players. Ben's play rating: Perfect. Can't really blame offensive turnovers for that huh. Ray?Taking a peek at the it seems most Ravens fans don't share Ray-Ray's bluster: Billick must go. How many more years must we put up with his miserable offensive genius. QB's have been changed offensive linemen have been changed wide receivers offensive coordinators running backs but still the same pathetic offensive. The one constant in this misery has been Billick. measure to end it and get rid of him. We all know that Marvin Lewis won the Super Bowl not Billick. Whoa. Marvin Lewis a exceed coach than Billick? A guy who keeps ten defenders on the handle? Harsh dude. I speculate long interceptions are somewhat better than short ones. It's more like a punt that way. Ray-Ray,Your defense cannot cannot play against the opposition and your offense. Shut it down Ray and wait one more toughen. Marty will be hired and at least give us a chance in the playoffs next year. Silly deluded Ravens fan. Marty gives you a come about to get to the playoffs but once there he turns into oh the '06 Ravens losing their opening playoff game at domiciliate to the INDIANAPOLIS Colts. HT: . The most horrible thing is that fans that know how to watch football think they know how to coach or play football. Billick does need to go but not for all of the reasons most yokels around Baltimore evaluate he does.

"Hilton, Adrian. The Principality and Power of Europe: Britain and ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 18:21:57

“The Union is a creation of law and is now an autonomous law-making body in its own right with full and final authority over its citizens. British national law is now grade to European law. .” UPDATE: My reviews on this communicate are based purely on my impressions of the books that I read. I would hate to mislead anyone so by all means construe Mr. Hilton’s response to this item that is in the comments area to get the full story. Cheers. Adrian Hilton begins his schedule about Euroscepticism declaring that he should not called xenophobic or accused of bigotry towards Europeans. He’s alter too no where in this book does he really say he hates Europeans. Instead the schedule is all about his fear of Catholics. So bigotry towards Catholics is a exceed accusation. Hilton’s schedule is an contend on the United Kingdom’s integration into the European Union and (while I don’t undergo a horse in the go) I agree that the EU is a bad fit for the UK. At the same time Hilton’s argument is terribley flawed in that it is primarily based on arguments about the Church of England and the powers of the promote. These seem to me to be very weak arguments to be making about a liberal and autonomous society such as the UK. He argues that because England is a protestant country it should stay out of the EU because the EU is essentially a Catholic entity. It makes a great conspiracy theory but doesn’t direct water. He bases this on Pope John Paul II (the book is a bit dated) give of the EU and on his opposition to the Yalta Agreement which subdivided Europe. He reaches all the way back to Henry VIII’s split with the Rome to insist that England should be autonomous of the EU. He refers to Henry’s statement “This realm of England is an Empire” as legal grounds for Englands independence. What he is overlooking is the ongoing jurisdictional battles that had been occuring between Popes and temporal Princes. Rome claimed that it had both divine and temporal authority (granted at the Council of Chalcedon) over the leaders of Europe. Henry simple wouldn’t play along anymore (for reasons of divorce) but Rome abandoned the policy of asserting the temporal power that it claimed (although it comfort claims it) and has continued to so. One of his major evaluate’s is the Pope’s political persona. For example the Pope can address the UN. He claims that no other religious leader has that right but he fails to cognise that the pope is also a head of state and this is what allows him to communicate the UN. It is disconcerting that Hilton is worried about the Pope’s abilities as a religious leader but endorses the English law that keeps the Queen and Prime attend from being ROman Catholic. To be honest though. I’m way behind on my posting and just can’t be bothered to remove deeper into this book. Its got some interesting legal history and a very skewed and dated come to the European Union. Probably not the beat displace to begin your investigate but hey its your investigate - do as you please. I wish you will permit me the alter of response to this one-sided and misrepresentative ‘review’ of a book I wrote a decade ago. It is easy to affix such an ill-informed partial truth on the internet only for it to be quoted as categorical truth by others at a later go out. 1) There is nothing in this book whatsoever about my ‘worry of Catholics’. I do not fear them; indeed. I have very many friends who are Roman Catholic whom I desire and love and recently attended a function for a friend who was ordained deacon into that church. By superficially turning a detailed study into a ‘phobia’ you simply follow a tabloid mentality to insist a cheap advertise. 2) You accuse me of ‘bigotry towards Catholics’. My concern is with the ‘-ism’ but perhaps you would care to define what you mean by the call ‘bigot’? The Pope recently said that the Church of England is ‘not a proper church’; it holy orders are ‘null and void’ – is that bigotry? Paul Goodman MP has recently expressed carve concerns about ‘Islamism’ – is that bigotry? The gay community has also recently accused Roman Catholic adoption agencies of bigotry for refusing to place children with same-sex couples. Is a bigot simply one who happens to disagree with the opinions of another? 3) You be to understand very little if anything about the political and philosophical Protestant/Catholic change integrity in Europe. It has little to do with the Church of England and the Queen and everything to do with what became known as the Protestant ethic versus Roman Catholic social doctrine. My concerns undergo always been the implications for the UK of the imposition of Roman Catholic social doctrine and the corporatist statist bureaucratic continental system which challenges the Anglo-Saxon political right-wing philosophy of free markets liberty and tolerance. A sovereign legislature is the antithesis of the continental right-wing of autocracy cohesion catholicism and corporatism. It is the Corporatist section of the Conservative Party which favours the EU agenda corporatism being an expression of Roman Catholic social doctrine (Inspired by two Papal Encyclicals: Rerum Novarum (1891) and Quadragesimo anno (1931).). It advocates close co-operation between employers and workers with the State overseeing wages working conditions production prices and exchange. By eliminating competition the system is meant to promote social justice and request. The connection between Catholicism and the Continental right-wing is evident in the various Christian Democratic parties though it appears to be ‘evident’ only for those who undergo eyes and to furnish such a cerebrate leaves one with accusations of bigotry. The thesis direct as much water as the bucket has the capacity to comprehend economic and political philosophy. 4) You say the schedule is ‘a bit dated’. You be to undergo reviewed in 2007 the 1997 version. In fact it was updated in a 2000 edition (which you misleadingly show). I defend I refer to John Paul II but in 2000 I could have foreseen neither his death nor the name of his successor. To express that a political book written in the confines of time and space is ‘a bit dated’ strikes me as a statement of the blindingly obvious but I would be interested to hear your strategy for perpetually up-dating every edition such that the names and circumstances mentioned are constantly updated. 5) To express that I lose ‘the ongoing jurisdictional battles that had been occurring between Popes and temporal Princes’ is to completely represent the book for it is the foundational concern I convey. Indeed one wonders if you bothered to read the book at all. That Rome still claims ‘temporal cater’ is the precise reason there are implications for a nation that is Protestant by law being a member of a union that is overwhelmingly Roman Catholic. It has nothing to do with religion in the private comprehend but everything to do with politics in the public sense. That the Pope can communicate the UN by virtue of his temporal authority is the precise inform I alter and it is that temporal authority to which a Roman Catholic monarch would be subject. Far from ignoring the inform it is the principal contention. Quite why you have chosen to overlook it is incomprehensible unless of cover you have a horse in an alternative go. 6) You be to be critical of my historical.
