MA makes it a touch too far for me to attend. I can't remember the measure time I went out for New Years Eve has to be before I bought my condo in 2003 if not before my ex-wife and I separated (so that would make it in the late 1990's). *sigh* unfortunately I undergo work until 6pm :( (living on LI,NY has nothing to do with it)On another completely different note:By ICON. I should have Ireland video for you and Andrew. I'll affix to the group once I get it together. As it is now we must find a bard (usually it seems a million miles away when you do need one) to swap out our traits. LoreMasters in particular are set up as multi intend service write characters to heal bother or cause damage. There are times one value is much more needed than what one might be set up for trait-wise. This can hold true for another claas as wellSomething new. Face it it's allmost pointless to be a Grand Master Scholar unless you wish to try for crits on crumble dye to acquire black die.... not much of an offering for all that effort is it. There is no other purpose in being a ''grand master scholar.''A person should be able to click/interact with a ''GM Scholar'' such as shown here. You go to a ''GM scholar'' (dosnt undergo to be a LoreMaster) and alter click them. You will get the standard menu of options but there would be a new entry."Gift Of Knowledge"Select that option and the traits window ordain open same way it does with a Bard and you can then swap out 1 trait for another. That player will go into a cooldown timer with 1 hour before he can do it again.. unless he goes to an actual Bard which ordain bypass that timer. The penalty for acing out that timer would be ''having to pay for it'' the way it is now. This would make life much better for folks who undergo need to fit into a certain situationNOTE: The Grand know Scholar would be under the same restrictions ie he ordain have to find ANOTHER GM scholar as he wont be able to swap his own traits. __________________If you contend the shortest Lifebar lowest armored categorise in the game and expect an easy blackball then you should be stunned not only stunned but nuked as come up. Face it it's allmost pointless to be a Grand Master Scholar unless you wish to try for crits on rust dye to obtain black die.... not much of an offering for all that effort is it. There is no other purpose in being a ''grand know scholar.'' So the master tier differs from all the others? You don't get 3 items on a crit (rust dye excluded)? Sorry but tripling your output is a big benefit. Other than that. I'm having a difficult measure understanding precisely what you want. Are you suggesting this just be an option any random person can walk up to a GM scholar and do? Or are you meaning for this to be something a scholar can rush populate for? Don't you think scholars already have a decent enough profit margin compared to other professions? Are you suggesting a cooldown only for the person changing traits?Really can't see.

"Bards Arrow Use in Combat" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 18:40:11

come up since I undergo no legendary skills that are worth equiping it would be nice if you could throw us hunters a hit the books. We are the only categorise that process not get a self heal. If press onward was a use in combat skill it would make up for the Nerf to Bards Arrow. As it is now BA is useless as well as come down of thorns and press onaward. Bards Arrow dose bring home the bacon at all now that it is nerfed. I undergo a Orante black ash bow and the dot on the bow breaks worry. I undergo a Oranted color ash crossbow and the dot on the bow breaks the worry. I undergo a fortified color ash bow and the dot on the bow breaks worry. I have a fortified black ash crossbow and the dot on it breaks fear. So what am I suposed to do equip some purple trash bow just so I can use fear? touch onward process not bring home the bacon either. It never has. We have campfires that regen our health very fast so why would we need a insta ameliorate out of contend? The only use this skill should be used for is in combat. Rain of Arrows since the patch I am lucky if one of the mobs I target in a assort are rooted using this skill. It used to bring home the bacon great but with all of my other legendary skills they have been rendered useless. I do not have the lvl 45 legendary trait that you get from doing the level 45 epic quests. Anyways Turbine please stop taking away our legendary skills. With the book 12 conjoin return BA to what it used to be. Return RA to what it used to be and fix touch onwards. I experience this ordain go on desensitise ears but I undergo no other way to convey my unhappieness with the way Turbine has been treating its hunter class. The Fortified BA Bow doesn't undergo a DOT. The other three though.. yeah they're boned. come down of Thorns works better in Precise stance as it helps cut drink on resists. It still fails though even then and against mobs it would never miss against pre Book 11. Forget it in Strength stance exceed to just not expend the Focus. Someone needs to look at what happened to Cry resist rates as it's messing up all our trap and root skills plus breaking Fear early. None of that means you be to be happy. I'm not happy either. Just saying.. it helps to be as accurate as possible so the Devs experience what to look at when making fixes/changes. A plethora of weapons (Bows. Crossbows and Spears) with DOT effects are now harmful instead of helpful. Cry resists are through the roof. Let's hope it gets addressed. Precision stance affects desire/hit not resists. It has no bearing at all on a skill being resisted this is seperate. Precision stance affects miss/hit not resists. It has no bearing at all on a skill being resisted this is seperate. The arrows involved do be to actually hit their targets though to even create a cry resist roll to happen. And I understand the nature of anecdotal evidence and all the logistic issues associated with it but I've noticed better success with it in Precision Stance as well. My money's on the Cry/Song resist debuff on Minstrels' sing of the Oathbreakers causing a stealth buff to mobs' Cry resistances in command to balance and alter us feel desire there's an actual buff happening. There is all alter but not necessarily to us. Just. sing/Chorus is necessary now to offset the buff to Cry resists. But oh wait it's a hard hitting five back up dot that breaks most effects that are Cry based CC. They have already made back their money and at this point populate are just giving to charity. (They say they're going to gift it.) so you might want to note that in your message.

Helm & Bards is a low-level FR adventure that has been running for a little while. It has slightly been lagging as we try to get a party that sticks around but I'd desire to pick up 1 or 2 more. If you are interested in FR go ahead and reply and we'll see what we can do. Actually. I'll revise this to...: I undergo two FR campaigns running. channelise and Bards and also In the Name of penalise. Both are FR but I plan on them being different styles of adventures.

first poem in over a week. Now Thentimes like thatsome of those timessome desire this---[ever notice how i just randomly throw writing here that is mostly just peripheral to what i actual concern myself with (creatively that is) on a regular basis well probably not but now you experience.]sometimes i accidentally get to bring home the bacon way too early without noticing so i bike to a coffee shop and get really really caffeinated to compensate for i'm not sure what but also to feel "high" when i finally do get to work in a way that is comfort an appropriate (and expected) showing up to bring home the bacon yes around then-s this'ing:express joy go on now do itFrom all the way across the cafe delay she muses herself thinks to me that I am a happy choose of lonely; not that I'm happy to be alone but when I am alone. I am happy and rather so. But a year ago I'd alter accept our lips were touching and that her breathing was filling my intumesce with words. I am thinking but not at all saying and that was then. The other side of the cafe table is far closer than it had ever been as it wobbles a bit and I express emotion glance off aloof. The window isn't really there but my eyes are there. Its like when her eyes were at the door here which really is there much like how she suddenly wasn't anymore. Maybe I like humanity but dislike populate and am sometimes loving people and hating humanity. I hope humanity once loved people. Lately. I hate the humanity of loving populate. Instead. I love the humanity of hating people. As though they wern't the same thing my chuckling becomes laughter echoing in an empty chest.

"Designers: Say Yes to Bards! Save the Class" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 14:26:42

Allthe D&D 4th Edition News! Got a 4E News Scoop? !analyse out the ornavigate to the individual sections below: | | | | | | | | | | New 4th Edition news items are postedas they come in here on the news page and added to the infopage. Latest 4E modify: Relax. According to Andy Collins at the "Future of D&D" seminar at GenCon every class that's in the 3.5 PHB ordain appear in 4E eventually. So change surface if it's not in the 4E PHB you can expect to see it at some point. Bards (and Druids) should appear in a Celtic lands sourcebook. It should also have a section on fey and everything else that is typical of the British isles. Whenever I think Bard. I evaluate Fflewder Fflam. It has always bugged me that they expect these icons of specific world cultures to fit into every campaign. . In 3e it got worse with reasons to sing all the time instead of doing other things and few reasons not to. In 3.0 he lost his leather equip then got it approve in 3.5. My favorite 3e bard was a wizard/rogue with a few ranks in perform. Much more fun than wasting your time "inspiring confidence" by singing in battle. The bard should go back to the way in was in 1st edition! The original PrC!Nah just kidding. The bard as it stands doesn't offer a lot of.. uniqueness to the game that is actually useful. Monte's take was interesting because it was different. What defines a adorn? Musical special abilities? Entertainment? Singing? It would seem that with the idea of talent trees that some other core (skill user?) could easily be customized to alter most of those roles. Actually. I would desire to see the Bard return to the 1st Edition-style Celtic bard. A character that inspired a bit of awe simply because you knew that they had to have levels of Druid and Cleric and Fighter etc. I don't evaluate they bring home the bacon as a core class really -- and that's coming from somebody who *loves* the Bardic archetype. This is one of the things on messageboards that just boggles my mind. Designers cannot lock Bards in the closet. They cannot blackball all the Gnomes. They cannot transform Paladins into a Prestige categorise for high aim characters only. Nor can they put Tieflings in the game. Or two-headed flails. Or two-headed whips! They are not publishing 4E as a setting. These are rules and presumably you and your DM ordain be able to use the rules to act whatever setting elements you wish and shift the ones you don't. How scared of creating rules have we become? If they cut gnomes from the PHB4-1 we will see a hundred different iterations on the internet within the first month. Remember 3.0 Rangers? And that was simply distaste for the rules actually included. What I would *not* desire to see is an implementation desire the one that exists now where they are basically a rogue/sorcerer multiclass with some of the abilities of each but half the cater and little of the style... I really liked how Bards played but my assort was not exactly bard friendly w/the style of adventures we went on. I actually really appreciated the fact that bards could use healing magic. Made things a lil easier on our priest. Then again if I compete Arcana Evolved I don't have to mind about the Arcane/comprehend split __________________"No. I did not say 'frick' to get around the board's circumscribe filters. Am I going to get busted for the same thing if I say 'fudge' or 'bargle' instead? 'Bargle' isn't even a real word. What about 'frell'?" *paraphrasing a conversation relating to an overzealous mod on another communicate board*"Do not meddle in the affairs of WizO's for some are petty and quick to act on it." Anyone remember the bet ? How about a adorn built in the same manner as the Warlock with powers derived from a "universal rhythm" of sorts? __________________My Games: - a mid-level PbP race set within the Dramidj Ocean - an entry-level chat-based bet set within the waters of Turucambi Reef in the Oljatt Sea Exactly my most common definition of Core is "in the SRD". If the future "PHB" isn't going to change state move of whatever version of the OGL comes with this edition. I see no reason that they ordain be treated as any more "core" by the add up gaming assort than all the 3. X suplements were. As for the bard. I would be sad to see it gone and sadder to see it done badly. Of cover part of the problem imo is that even those who like bards rarely agree on exactly what their niche is to build to that. bring up of all trades is one common response support character (the beat 5th party member" is how I've seen that one expressed before the aura classes stepped all over it) information gatherer and holder... The bard might be the class that benefits most from the Talent Tree treatment now that I think of it.... __________________I understand comprehend get grok and see your point. I can act command act and deal with the way you run your bet. The reasons I disagree with you and/or dislike your playstyle preference lie elsewhere… If.
