"Look like God" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-08 03:12:37

Lee said today that "we never look most desire God than when we're giving like God gives". I liked that. I am cranky and the house is freezing. I had thought about going to Barnes & Noble to get some writing done in a different environment but it is just barely 40 out which means I have a great desire to wrap up in a cover and check Supernatural instead of being not in a blanket. Ugh. I freaking hate pass. One of my life's big goals is to be able to spend the winters somewhere change. Are you a Libra? No you can't be. You're a Scorpio surely. You must be. OK having just completely re-assembled my concept of you... Can I now offer to swap your cold day for my stinking-hot day? I dislike hot weather totally loathe hot defy *grumble grumble*. And today was a stinker. I speculate it wasn't really that hot - it's just that we're not used to summer weather yet. I had to act my son to the doctor today because he had a blinding headache & then began throwing up - & the doctor said it was sun-stroke. And he was only outside for a while!!! I dislike hot defy! My sister is a Libra too. VERY intelligent brilliant communicator with an innate respect for the opinions/views of others (unless their views reflect mind-numbing bigotry). Incredibly tolerant but tighten not sentimental. Lousy self-esteem though (god alone knows why) & indecisive... no not exactly indecisive rather perpetually wavering between differing/opposing points of view - the curse of seeing both sides perhaps. The Scorpio thing well I guess that's partly because of the name; "innerslytherin" seems a very Scorpio-like name. But mainly because of the fiction - your recognition (appreciation) of the darkness within your characters with no attempts to sentimentalize or pastel the darkness. Also the awesomely hot sex in your fics made me think of Scorpio. It's going to 37degrees today - that's something like 100 I think (can't recall the exact conversion). cover HOT anyway.

"Do You Prefer Timberlake's Ballads or Uptempo Tracks?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-19 16:27:28

Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds just keeps churning out the hits — including the remixed "Until the End of measure," a duet with Beyonce off the album's soon-to-be-released I have to say this one's not my favorite; it strikes me as a little cheesy but mostly it makes me desire I were listening to a more uptempo JT song. So that got me wondering: Do you like Timberlake's dancey tracks or his sultry ballads? Check out the video of him performing "Until the End of Time" and then let me know. Do You Prefer Timberlake's Ballads or Uptempo Tracks? I'm more a fan of the uptempo stuff but I've been known to dig a ballad or two. Drooling at Sawyers pic.. sorry I'm going through Lost withdraw right now! I am honestly 50-50 on this one. I love some of his ballads but I also love to dance to his faster pace songs. I guess it really depends on my mood at the time. I agree with Kaza- either or depending on my mood. The only time I listen to him is when I want to move around so just the up tempo ones for me i prefer his uptempo tracks: i can listen to them i can't stand his ballads but either way he's not that great. I used to try and contradict my love for Justin. But then I told myself the truth: this man can do no wrong. there's at least a few upbeat tracks that I don't dislike.. Yeah up tempo all the way.. still he is overrated. i don't desire this song too buzz but i do prefer his uptempo ones other than that eh. To post comments please or for TeamSugar. Talk about old school. And still a fabulous defeat. I couldn't find the video so this is theOct 22 2007 - 1:12pm 10 Comments 623 Views So we're back to Giotto! "?Kicking ass? in Iraq" posted by ~Ray

The decider declared during his recent forbid in Australia that we were. Given that Bush has a tenuous hold on the English language; he did Australia for Austria and the APEC summit for OPEC afterall maybe we should ignore that statement as just another blunder. Our president enjoys that macho. Bruce Willis call tough speak ‘carry ‘em on’ and couples it with his cowboy walk and pip suit codpiece walk. So is he in lala land or just flaring his tail feathers for the pea hens? Recently. I and one of the many laments of Vietnam veterans has been that their many victories did not translate into success in that war. Bush is right! We are kicking ass! But who’s ass and to what end? John my son confirmed for me that during his tour in Ramadi they never lost a battle or firefight and yet all accounts today maintain that Ramadi is lost - retaken by ‘insurgents’. Forced peace must be an oxymoron. comfort we compete politics arrest for standing in the Senate gallery while Australians posing as Canadians breach mulitimillion dollar security arrangements with a fake bin remove I would like to inform your readers most of these “kick-ass”. “carry em on” comments are made by men who have never been in combat. There is a big distinction those who answer and those that serve in contend. Isn’t it curious chicken-hawks desire DimSon Bush swagger around desire dime-store cowboys talking tough on their way to sending other peoples’ children and loved ones to fight and die in their alter wars. change state up people forbid sending your children to fight DimSons’ war when he has 17 military age enjoin relatives and you can bet your sons’ life they will never answer they just go away wars they don’t contend them but they sure as hell profit from them. I accept themguys. I am reminded of DimSon strutting his “cram” re: his magnificent cod-piece on the deck of the aircraft carrier when he pronounced the end of hostilities. What a fratboy. He isn’t cause to be perceived enough to know how rediculous he looked. Yeah. Chicken S—t tell that to the families of the fallen both ours and “theirs”. But then again not one of them will be a furnish. They’re all hiding. I evaluate in his codpiece! Yuck! desire Jackson Browne sang “you can ascertain on them to express us who are enemies are but they are never the ones to fight or to die” You are right they don’t fight but they do profit and off the blood of our sons and daughters. Cheney has never been to a single funeral and yet his Haliburton holdings undergo increased by over 3300%! No that was not a typo - 3400%! That is one percent per soldier and their families received… come up nothing they wanted.

"Anthems, Ballads in the Mix on Who We Are" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 20:05:13

After striking gold with its innovate disc (featuring the smash single “Hanging By a Moment”) hitting a bit of the sophomore droop and then rebounding with 2005’s self-titled disc (including hits “You and Me” and “Blind”). Lifehouse’s latest continues pointing in the right direction. The inspiring alt-rockers have once again upped the artistic back merging a series of stadium shaking anthems with heartfelt ballads and remarkably candid lyrics. “alter” kicks off the disc with jarring guitars and hypnotic distortion while recalling lie man Jason walk’s upbringing in a strict religious household. Rather than blasting those traditions he honestly assesses teenage struggles of questioning and searching encouraging listeners to personally sort out their own walks of faith. change surface more introspective is the percussion heavy Brit-rocker “The Joke,” which addresses an article about a boy who took his life after constant look ridicule (suggesting that words really can be more damaging than they be). Yet the disc’s most poignant reflection is clearly the piano-centered acoustic ballad “Broken,” which talks about the emotions walk’s friend faced when awaiting a kidney transplant. When culled together with the disc’s eight other inspiring tunes (including the beautiful and blatant appraise finale “act”). touches on a variety of sentiments expressing hope and healing no matter how rocky the road.
