The end of my first week as a city-dwelling estate-working Irish-living woman. Every day there’s one bus out to the office and one home again. If I miss it there is a regular bus I can surprise but then there’s a 15 minute go which includes crossing a particularly dangerous round-about: The estates just weren’t built for pedestrians so there’s a strong incentive to be at the bus-stop bright and early each day.
